Proud owner of LI Dance Fitness, Lauren has an apparent passion for working with others to attain their personal fitness goals.   Beachbody Coach, ACE Group Fitness Certified, Zumba® licensed Basics 1, Basics 2, ZumbaToning® & Zumbatomic®, Turbo Kick & Hip Hop HUSTLE Instructor Certified & Certified Pole Fitness Instructor levels beginner-advanced she continues to expand her education through various other fitness organizations.

 

 

 

 

 

Maria Dalton_LI Dance FitnessMaria Dalton

Maria Dalton has been in the fitness field since 1981 at age 17. She has instructed a variety of group classes & private training sessions complemented with general nutritional counseling.  She has a Doctorate of Chiropractic focusing on Human Biomechanics and Recreational Rehabilitation. Also, Maria has been a choreographer for the half-time show of the Jets  and trainer for fitness and bodybuilder competitors as well as a competitor herself. She enjoys helping people to achieve their health & fitness goals through her motivation and passion for fitness.

Coriena Loren

Coriena began her love for Middle Eastern dance in 2002. In addition to co-founding Majestic Hips, she is a member of The Kali Tribal Fusion and was a member of Roni’s Inner Spirit Dance Troupe for 4 years in addition to being one of Sasha’s beloved dancers. She has completed Tamalyn Dallals teachers training course and Faten Salama’s Egyptian Certification. Coriena also holds a BA degree in Psychology and Art and is currently studying for her Masters in Art Therapy. Coriena has expressed herself through art all her life and hopes to never stop seeing the world as her creative canvas.

Cristina Dovi

Cristina is a licensed Zumba and Zumbatomic instructor, who currently teaches Zumba at LI Dance Fitness.  Her passion for dance shines as soon as the music starts to play.  With a background in high school and college dance teams, her energy will keep you pumped up and smiling throughout your workout. Her enthusiasm, choreography, and playlist will make you forget you’re exercising. Ditch the workout, and join Cristina’s party!!

Sheauwei Pidd

Sheauwei ‘Shews’ Pidd is a licensed yoga instructor, hoop dance teacher and fitness fanatic.She has been sharing her passions for artistic creativity and dance since 2008. She hopes to bring a wonderful journey of self discovery through fun, engaging and challenging activities with her Hula Hoop Groove & Aerial Conditioning Class. Shews creates a supportive environment where you can experience and develop a sense of inner power, grace and bring out the goddess within.

Maria (Dr K) is a fitness enthusiast who also has a passion for dance. She discovered pole dancing for fitness and found that it brought these 2 together beautifully and so she began learning, training and eventually performing and competing in pole dance shows and
competition. Long before she discovered pole fitness, Maria performed in dance as a national league cheerleader, a contestant on a national dance show, and in venues in and around her hometown (Detroit). In fitness, she competed locally and nationally in bodybuilding competitions and has worked as a personal trainer and strength coach. Dr K has a PhD in Performance Psychology and has written for national publications such as Muscle & Fitness. In teaching, Maria draws from her real life experience as a performer and her academic
perspective to help each student find her own style in movement and dance so that she can express her unique voice that is hers and hers alone.

Emma Soto incorporates her years of training in dance and gymnastics with her pole dancing. She performed in Latin dancing for eight years, performing at venues such as Madison Square Garden and the NYC Salsa Congress. Emma has been a gymnastics coach at Artistic Gymnastics for five years and is also USAG Certified. Pole dancing has truly helped Emma achieve things she never thought she could do and she hopes her passion for teaching others will assure the same result.
